CONDUCTORS
There are several points to take into account when selecting the right conductor material. In principle, you have the choice between conductor materials made out of plastic (tapes, wires, ropes) in which the current-leading wires are interwoven with plastic threads and solid wires made from carbide, which are especially suited for fixed fence construction.
When selecting the right wire material, note the resistance in Ohm/m. The smaller this value, the better the material conducts electricity.

Tapes offer ideal security for horses - especially 40 mm wide tapes.
It is important to ensure the tapes are always fully tensioned and do not sag.
The lower the specified resistance in ohm/m on the tape roll, the more electricity flows through the fence to the animal.
